The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions.
My experience at Studio 9 was frustrating from the start. I encountered rude staff who yelled at us for merely propping open a door while retrieving items from our car. The overall condition of the hotel was shoddy, and it felt like the staff really didn't care about the guests at all.

Warm hospitality, dated decor
The staff were exceptionally friendly, helping with everything from coffee to extra towels. Returning guests receive a warm welcome, making it feel like home.
The décor was quite outdated and the room door had trouble opening, which could be frustrating. Even the towels felt thin and not very luxurious.

this hotel is definitley not what it seems. the bathroom was dated and needed serious upgrades, and don’t even get me started on the noise from the main road, it sounded like a drag strip! as a paying customer, i expected something more—maybe a complimentary snack or a room upgrade at least, but alas, just mediocrity here.

During my stay in Decatur, I had the opportunity to visit the Cook Museum of Natural Science, which was just a short drive away. I really appreciated the convenience of the elevator for loading and unloading my luggage. The staff was always ready to lend a hand, and my room was neat and clean, which made for a comfortable place to unwind after exploring the local attractions.

close to restaurants, convenient elevator access, secure entrances
Everything felt dated and dim!!! The room door stuck like it was glued shut, making entry a hassle. Thin towels didn't meet expectations, and an external door that barely closed left me feeling uneasy.

the bed was incredibly comfortable but my room had a weird smell.

The room was clean and comfortable with adequate amenities, perfect for resting after long hours. Though the surrounding area appeared a bit run down, the friendly front desk staff ensured a smooth check-in experience. The heater worked well, keeping the space warm and cozy during my stay. However, the decor was quite outdated, and I faced a few inconveniences with the bathroom facilities, which could certainly use some updates.
